The other day I found this dead bird on my way. I tried to cover her with leaves, but then decided to dig a hole on the ground and place her in there... I decorated it with yellow flowers I found.
While digging I was singing a little song to the bird for her to fly happy. It was not sad. It was an innocent death. It was like I was feeling happy for the bird anyway... like a child that wasn't contaminated with the idea of sadness bounded to death. It was just another joyful part of life and nature. The song I sang had a happy tune. It was like a secret moment there, me and the bird. Secretly understanding something about death that wasn't sad at all. I just wished her a happy voyage. |
