This took me a loooong time. Months. And was made from a sketch from years ago. Well, it's not uncommon that a drawing take me months to do. I usually start them one day, work on them for a week, then leave them to rest. And only get back to them the next month, and that's how it goes... Of course, sometimes it happens that I finish a painting in 3 days. It depends. But I have a lot of ongoing projects here, unfinished drawings that I started a long time ago and I work on them little by little...
It's good in a way, because some times I open a file and have a totally different (better and improved!) perception about it than when I started it. Bad thing is, it's slow.
Well finally, I managed to finish THIS one. I'm pretty proud of it and somehow find it different from my other works. It's bright, she's blonde and there's pink on it The branch was not so hard as I thought it would be!
Oh - the title is in Portuguese, it means literally "fairy girl", but I just thought it sounds better in Portuguese, cause it means more like "young fairy".
I really love this one. I really like the bold look in her eyes of youth. Self assured, questing, wondering what life has in store. She is beautiful, willful and innocent at the same time. Annie
