Oh my god what is that I'm submiting something new after so long. Yes, all of a sudden I've come back to painting and now I'm finishing some unfinished works. Some may remember this one, when he was rough and incomplete.

Isn't the undersea one of the most beautiful things in nature?!


Edit: Do I have a distorted notion of feminine/masculine faces? =( I can't see how people see a feminine face on him... It would be a very strange woman if it was. Gee, this thing haunts me... should I try to make it more masculine? =/

Edir 2: Ok, I made a few adjustments. Hopefully his face looks less feminine now? =p But he still has full lips because he is a FISH! Kinda.

You captured the mood and the colours of a coral reef very good! The glitter on the scales seem real and the webbed fingers... cool! Most of all I love the merman's face and his drowning deep eyes!!!

This is just gorgeous. The merman's eyes are hypnotic, his face radiant, and the scenery around him is absolutely stunning! Welcome back!

Why does he have an awesome built torso yet a woman's face? :confused: I'm puzzled about that bit.

The colors are absolutely amazing, though. :thumbsup:
